On session day, everything is prepared and ready so you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience. We gently guide your child through each moment, blending classic, clean portraits with candid interactions that capture their personality exactly as it is in this season. 3. Let's Talk Details
We'll chat about potential dates, your vision, location ideas, and anything special you'd like to capture—so your session feels personal from the very start.
4. Reserve Your Date
Once we've nailed down the details, you'll receive a booking link and retainer deposit to officially reserve your spot on our calendar.
5. You're Booked!
Your session is locked in. Sit back, relax, and start getting excited!
6. Photoshoot Day
It's finally here! We can't wait to meet you and capture all the genuine moments, big and small.
7. Editing & Retouching
Your gallery goes into our editing process, with a typical turnaround of about one week (often faster!).
8. Gallery Delivery
Your fully edited gallery—featuring the best images from your session—is delivered straight to your inbox. Depending on your package, you'll receive a set number of included images, with the option to purchase additional favorites.
9. Prints & Frames
If your package includes prints or framed pieces, we'll work with you to select your top images and send them off to our trusted printer for a beautiful, lasting finish.

We have a variety of ideas but we are creatives at heart and want to make your vision come to life! From balloon arches (through LAF Events) to themed backgrounds, props, and more, we are so excited to be able to create the perfect set for your child!
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR CUSTOM SETS?
You can expect your fully edited gallery within 5-7 days. I take great care in hand-editing each image to ensure your gallery feels cohesive, polished, and true to your story. We always deliver as soon as the gallery is completed and polished so don't be surprised to get it early!
When will we receive our photos?
Session packages vary in time so we ask that you choose a package that fits your needs the best. If you or your family need more time to warm up, I don't recommend a mini session but our packages are designed so everyone at every budget can have beautiful images for years to come. Please reach out if you have any questions about which session to choose!
How long does a session last?
Kids will be kids, and honestly that makes the best and most genuine smiles and poses in photos! I don’t rely on perfect behavior to create beautiful images. I gently guide the session in a way that feels like play, allowing your children to be themselves. Some of the most meaningful moments come from the unplanned, in-between interactions.
WHAT If my kid(s) do not cooperate?
Once you’re booked, I’ll guide you through styling so everything feels cohesive and effortless. I recommend soft, neutral tones and pieces that allow movement and comfort. The goal is comfort and letting your child's personality shine without discomfort.
